COVID 19 Restrictions and Scenarios

COVID rules and restrictions are continually evolving and changing.  I follow government and industry advice closely and always endeavour to communicate promptly with my clients whenever there is a change that impacts on our classes and one to ones.  To help you understand your options with regards to attending sessions face to face or online, I have outlined some example scenarios below.

Precision Poise classe and one to ones are all located in the Chichester borough and will follow their tier guidance that applies for Chichester.  If you live within a different borough, you will also need to adhere to the guidance that applies to your borough and tier. If you are unsure whether you are able to attend face to face sessions please do get in touch and I will be happy to advise based on the current rules in place.

Current Tier for Chichester Borough: Tier 4 (from 26th December 2020)

Last Updated: 24th December 2020

You / your household are self-isolating

If you develop symptoms of COVID 19, such as a fever or cough, please do not come to class for at least 14 days from the onset of symptoms and until you are symptom free. I f you received a negative COVID test during this time you can return to class once you have been fever free for at least 48 hours.

If anyone in your household develops symptoms of COVID 19 please do not come to class until they have received a negative test (or for 14 days if a test is not done)

If you are contacted by NHS Test and Trace and advised to self isolate please do not come to class until your isolation period is over.

In the scenarios above, you are welcome to book into and attend our regular online classes which are typically run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  Full schedule is available in the booking system.  Members can also take advantage of the members only video library online.

One to one clients will have the option to switch their booked sessions to Zoom or postpone until their isolation period is over.

Your Instructor Is Self Isolating

If for any reason I have to self isolate, all clients will be informed as soon as possible.

Group classes will automatically be changed to Zoom classes until such time that face to face teaching can resume.  The normal timetable will continue to apply.

If you have a one to one booked during the isolation period you will be contacted and given the option to switch t to a Zoom session or postpone the session until I can resume face to face teaching.

In this scenario, all classes will run according to the normal timetables but will be run on Zoom until the isolation period is over.

Precision Poise is in tier 1 or 2 but You Live in a Tier 3 or 4 area

Due to restrictions on people travelling into and out of tier 3 or 4 areas, and current industry guidance, if you live in a tier 3 area I ask you to please not travel to group classes or one to one sessions with Precision Poise if it is in a different tier to your own (Precision Poise falls under Chichester district, West Sussex).

I know this will be deeply frustrating for those who find themselves in a tier 3 or 4 area at a time when Precision Poise class and 1:1 locations remain in tier 2, however I ask for your patience and understanding should that be the case.

Chichester enters tier 3 or 4

OR

There is a national lockdown

Precision Poise classes and one to ones are all held within the Chichester borough therefore will follow the tier restrictions and guidelines that apply Chichester.

Group Classes: Currently group exercise classes are not permitted in tier 3 or 4. In the event of Chichester being placed in tier 3 or 4, all group classes will be moved online via Zoom.  Timetables will remain as normal.

One to ones:

Tier 3: One to one sessions in my private garden studio will be able to continue in tier 3, as long as you also live in a tier 3 area.  Online sessions via Zoom will also be available

Tier 4: One to one sessions are not permitted in tier 4.

Each national lockdown comes with its own set of restrictions and permissions that apply to each sector.  In the event of a national lockdown I will follow government and industry guidance closely. It is expected that all face to face teaching would be suspended, with group classes moving online via Zoom and one to one clients being given the option to switch to Zoom or postpone their sessions.

In these scenarios all group classes are expected to move to Zoom, running at the normal timetable.  One to one sessions may also be suspended during a national lockdown, with the option to move to Zoom or postpone sessions.

"Gina spent time working through a series of exercises that I can do to strengthen and showed me the modifications that made them work for my hip.  She is wonderful, kind and encouraging, explains things really well and was immensely patient when my brain needed time to process"
