COVID-19 PROCEDURES FOR GROUP CLASSES

Precision Poise operates in accordance with COVID secure guidelines.

I have completed and passed the COVID-19 Awareness Training delivered by the ReActivate joint initiative from CIMSPA and Sport England, and am actively keeping myself informed on new guidelines, regulations and research.

Here are some examples of what to expect when attending face to face classes with Precision Poise.

  • An COVID-19 waiver form for group classes will be sent to all class attendees for agreement to adhere to infection control measures in place (online form submission)

  • Limited class sizes to ensure a minimum of 2m distancing throughout the class (advance booking is essential)

  • Clients must bring their own mats to class

  • Clients are recommended to bring their own small equipment with them to class (e.g. soft ball, resistance band, head block).  I will have a very limited number of spares with me for those who do to have their own and need to borrow one in class.  All such equipment will be sanitised after each use.

  • Floor markings are used to ensure mats are suitably distanced

  • Sanitisation of high traffic areas, such as door handles and barres, will occur before and after each class

  • Hand sanitiser is available in all classes and at the facility entrance

  • Air quality monitoring and use of open windows/doors to ensure ventilation within recommended levels

  • Test and Trace QR Code is placed at the studio entrance for users of the app.

  • Any client who is experiencing symptoms of coronavirus, such as a fever, cough or altered sense of taste/smell, or has been contacted by NHS Test and Trace is required to stay away from group classes for at least 10 days after the onset of symptoms or until a negative test (negative test does not apply if you have been asked to isolate as part of Test and Trace)

  • If you are returning from any country on the quarantine list you are required to stay away from group classes for the duration of the quarantine period.  If you develop symptoms of coronavirus during this time you must continue to stay away from classes for at least 10 days after the onset of symptoms.

If you are self isolating, shielding or simply do not feel ready to return to face to face classes, there are online options available to you.  I run up to 3 online group classes per week in addition to our regular face to face classes and you are welcome to book into and attend these classes at any time.
